Local organizers and activists have created a 2019 wall calendar, titled “We Are Vermont!” The calendar features photographs of people in Vermont promoting sustainable transportation and farming practices, demonstrating for social justice issues, enjoying the wonders of our beautiful state, and much more. The calendar was produced by Green Writers Press, and printed locally by Springfield Printing Company, who use soy-based inks.

“There are many reasons why we decided to create this calendar,” said Nancy Braus, owner of Everyone’s Books in Brattleboro. “After many years of selling Vermont calendars with only landscapes and scenery, we wanted a calendar to show the people of Vermont, doing wonderful things – expressing our political will, enjoying the outdoors, and working the land. We also wanted to create a fundraiser for 350Vermont.”

Proceeds from the calendar will help 350Vermont fulfill their mission to organize, educate, and support people in Vermont to work together for climate justice – resisting fossil fuels, building momentum for alternatives, and transforming our communities toward justice and resilience.

Copies of the 2019 “We Are Vermont!” calendar are available at participating bookstores, coops, and general stores across the state for $15.95. Additionally, 350Vermont will be gifting calendars to anyone who contributes $100 to the organization, or becomes a sustaining donor of over $10 per month before the end of the year.
