What are 350VT’s Local Nodes & Statewide Teams?

Local Nodes  & Statewide Teams are doing the essential work of making change in their local communities and building power statewide. Nodes carry out their own local campaigns, as well as events like community conversations and house meetings, film screenings, trainings and workshops, art builds, and critical mass bike rides. Our statewide teams focus on our Just Transition campaign, guiding its strategy, communications, organizing and more.

350Vermont’s Local Nodes!

  • 350Brattleboro Node

    We are a group of people who meet regularly, organize together, and take action to grow a stronger climate justice movement in the greater Brattleboro area. This is an open group that welcomes anyone ready to take climate action and help grow the movement locally.

  • Climate Advocates Bennington

    We are Bennington residents affiliated with 350VT working towards a sustainable future, a livable planet, and climate justice!

  • 350Burlington Node

    We are activists who regularly meet to talk and take action on climate justice. We host events in the Burlington area to educate and organize towards a stronger climate justice movement in the greater Burlington area.

  • Earth Matters Manchester

    We are a Southern Vermont climate justice group, and 350VT node, Earth Matters is raising consciousness on climate change and ways to mitigate its consequences. We are the environmental committee of MoveOn Manchester.

  • 350Rutland Node

    We’re working to promote Climate Justice in Rutland County! Join Us!

  • 350Addison County Node

    We are the Middlebury node of 350VT. Join us as we advocate for climate justice and a Just Transition for the Green Mountain State!

  • Families Rise Up

    Central Vermont families organizing with one another towards a Just Transition!

  • 350White River Node

    We are organizing in Bethel, Randolph, South Royalton and nearby towns towards a Just Transition off of carbon based fuels!

  • 350Montpelier Node

    We are activists in the Montpelier, VT, area working to mobilize and educate folks in our area to take action for climate justice!

  • Northeast Kingdom Node

    We are a group of residents and activists in the Kingdom organizing for climate justice. We are 350VT’s newest node! All are welcome and invited to join us in taking action and growing the movement!

  • Climate Action Collective (students)

    We are an energetic group focused on bringing students together to come up with innovative solutions to the climate crisis, sponsored by 350VT. We are primarily composed of UVM, Champlain College, and St. Michaels students, but ALL dedicated to helping mitigate the effects of the climate crisis are welcome.

  • Communications Team

    350Vermont’s communication team creates messaging and materials reflecting the work of policy teams, the Just Transition campaign team, staff, and more!

  • Fundraising Team

    Our fundraising team assists our lead fundraiser with grassroots fundraising efforts, helping ensure our movement has the resources to organize!

  • Just Transition Campaign Team

    The Campaign Team helps guide the strategy, development, and evolution of 350Vermont’s Just Transition Campaign.

  • Policy Research & Development Teams

    Research and policy development teams dive deep into the issues and help develop 350Vermont’s policy positions. Currently there are teams working or starting to form on:

    • Electricity

    • Heating/Cooling

    • Transportation
